Important NEWS for visitors wishing to stay longer than 30 days in Northern Cyprus

A report on the Front Page  of Cyprus Today has reported that Visitors to the TRNC are only being issued 30 day visas. 

Previously visas were issued for a 90 day period. 

If you are intending to stay longer than 30 days the advice being given is to produce your flight ticket and request your visa is made out for the necessary period (of course not longer than 90 days).  If you intend to stay longer than 90 days then the best advice would be to start applying for temporary residency. 

The Police at Ercan do have the authority to make extensions.
